Multiple VLANS on Gig interface

I have CSS11503 and configured interface 1/1 (Gig) for bridge Vlan 18

I would like to add Vlan 30 to connect to another Group/Content/Service set of servers that I want to load balance for also.

Do I need to change the interface 1/1 to trunk mode or can I add Vlan 30 (bridge Vlan 30) to interface 1/1 also and have both Vlans bridged to the upstream router.

Re: Multiple VLANS on Gig interface

Hi,

You can have only one bridge vlan per interface, so on this case, you would need to configure the Gig interface as a trunk.

I hope this helps. Thanks!

Regards,

Jose.
