NBAR

Need a helping-hand concerning my understanding of NBAR: Is classification and marking still working although NBAR is disabled?

E.G.:

Router(config)#class-map DQoS

Router(config-cmap)#match protocl http host www.cisco.de

Router(config)#policy-map DQoS

Router(config-pmap)#class DQoS

Router(config-pmap-c)#set ip dscp 46

Router(config)#no ip nbar protocol-discovery

Thanks

Edgar

Re: NBAR

Tthe command of "ip nabr protocol-discovery" statistic the protocols under the interface. It can not disable or enable the NABR.It just show you the classified protocols. If you want to enable the NBAR policy under a interface, you shall use "service-policy".

After you defined a policy-map,attached it under a interface.Like the below command.

Router(config-if)#service-policy
