Part number for 1000Base-T SFP in CSS 11503 and CSS11506 Gigabit IO Modules

Question 1:

===========

I am looking through the CSS11500 Series Hardware installation guide at this link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/css11500series/v8.20_v8.10/installation/guide/instg.html

I can find Cisco P/N of the Fibre GBIC SFPs and they are called CSS5-GBIC-LX and CSS5-GBIC-SX but I cannot find the P/N of the 1000Base-T UTP SFP. Is there something like CSS5-GBIC-T or do I just get a GLC-T that is the P/N used on may Cisco Products for providing 1000Base-T connectivity?

2. On the CSS5-SCM-2GE and on the CSS5-IOM-2GE - Are the GBICs interchangable between these two modules? Meaning are the GBICs for these two modules the same?

Hi,

In regards to question #1. The part number we use when processing an RMA is:

GLC-T=; QTY: 1; Desc: 1000BASE-T SFP

As for question #2, the GBICs are the same for both of those blades.

Regards

Pete..
