Pools and the ACEs

We will be migrating from the BigIP's to the ACE's and I am trying to get up to speed on the ACEs. Would someone please let me know what in ACE's would correspond to the Pools in BigIP's? - would that be Server Farms?

Thanks..

Re: Pools and the ACEs

Hi,

Yes indeed, it is similar to a serverfarm.

I found this definition of a pool in BigIP:

A BIG-IP pool is a set of devices grouped together to receive traffic according to a load-balancing method.

This is the definition of a serverfarm in ACE:

Server farms are groups of networked real servers that contain the same content and that typically reside in the same physical location in a data center.

HTH,

Dario
