Resetting an ACE back to factory settings

I have finally got the ACE working but would like to know how I can reset the device back to it's factory settings.

Issuing a "write erase" command followed by"reload" should do the trick.

Do this with care - if you're in remotely you will be disconnected and no longer have the vty IP interface address you had been using.

Hi,

You'll need to do a "write erase" in each context. Also you may need "crypto delete" to remove any SSL files and "license uninstall" in the admin context to remove any licenses. It all depends on how far you want to do.
