Services down - config issue or css limitation?

I am load balancing three routers using the CSS11150. I have setup the three routers as primary, secondary and tertiary services. The routers feed X25 lines with the route determined by the port number. Everything works fine until I get above 100 services and then services do not go active. I can enter content rules okay but the services are down. The external connections are connecting to the vip address and specified port number (9000 - 9500). Have I hit the limit on the CSS and if so what do I need to upgrade to?

Config:

service Test01_pry

port 9001

ip address 172.7.1.2

active

service Test01_sdy

port 9001

ip address 172.8.1.2

Re: Services down - config issue or css limitation?

the limit is actually 256 keepalives of one type [in this case icmp as the default].

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/webscale/css/css_610/bsccfggd/services.htm#wp1026607

But there a limit of 64 concurrent icmp keepalive.

It means you have to adjust the keepalive frequency to avoid having more than 64 keepalive firing at the same time.

The CSS11500 can support more keepalives.

The limit is increase to 2048.
