I've been using the 08.10.0.02 since it was released. I also recently upgraded to the 08.10.1.06 code this past week without any revealed (as of yet) problems. Our CSSs have been stable and seemingly a bit quicker (nothing empirical as of yet) since.
If you use the GUI, the 8.10 code's GUI frontend is much nicer and stable. I use the CLI mainly and there is no difference there.
When you upgrade, unless you use the script, do not forget to archive any scripts you may have beyond those supplied. It does delete and recreate the script directory and you will need to reload them if you do not archive. Fortunately for me it was only one....
