I am in the process of designing our networks to support Tibco/Rendezvous solutions between our datacenter and office. My understanding about tibo product is i can run the Tibco/Rendezvous daemon (rvd) on computers within a single vlan (same ip subnet) using IP multicast for communication. In stead of enabling Multicast routing on our switches between the offices and datacenters routing multicast traffic, this can be overcome by using routing daemons. The routing daemons forward TIB/Rendezvous messages between networks. This is achieved by running at least one routing daemon on each participating network. Please let me know if my understanding is correct. Also if anyone know about tibo Rendezvous, please assist me because i need to get it working by end of the week.
