Traceroute through a ACE module ??

icmp reply isn't displayed if I enter tracert command from a client pc to a router through ACE module.

it's displayed as ***** (not a ACE ip addr).. I think ACE module wasn't confugured to send any icmp trace reply..

How can I configure ACE to receive icmp trace-reply of ACE module ?

I aleady configured for allowing icmp protocol in management class-map..

like this

class-map type management match-any MGMT_CLASS

2 match protocol telnet any

3 match protocol icmp any

4 match protocol ssh any

policy-map type management first-match MGMT_POLICY

class MGMT_CLASS

permit

Perhaps I guess it's need to configure more..

please read carefully the document.

Not all traceroute will work.

Are you tracing to a vip address, an interface address or an address behind the ACE module ?

The policy you showed is only for icmp traceroute [not the udp version] and to the interface address.
