Unable to access content from different Subnet but same subnet ok

We have a CDM,CE and CR in one subnet and have configured SHR using DNS. The clients are able to access the content from the CE if the clients are in the same subnet as the CDM, CE and CR but are unable to do so from a different subnet. We have already specified all the subnets in the coverage zone XML file. We are using a Cat 6 for layer 3 switching to define the diffrent subnet. Is there any setting that must be done on the Switches end to allow the clients to access the content form diffrent subnet?

Guess you'll need to configure wccp to redirect traffic to the cache if the clients are in different subnets. Here's a sample config.
