We are currently using a css 11150 v4.01019s code to load balance our website. Our website uses SiteMinder v.4.51 as its authentication application.
When you connect to our website initially you can see the SiteMinder login box on the screen. When you enter your credentials and press the login button your credentials are sent to our SiteMinder policy server and when you get authenticated you are redirected with an http 1.1 302 redirect to the authenticated portion of our website.
As a test we recently upgraded our CSS to v.5.0B05s. When we did this, the ability to authenticate to our website ceased to function properly. You can still get the login prompt on the home page but when you try to login, you never get to our authenticated site. We have seen this problem in Checkpoint Firewalls that use the http security service and in some proxy servers such as bordermanager. The issue seems to be the way that the software handles http 1.1 302 redirects.
What is confusing to us is that this works in the 4.0 versions of code but does not in the 5.0 version. Has anybody experienced this problem or know of an issue with the v 5.0 code and http 1.1 redirects?
