VIP intermittent connectivity

Hi  All ,

We have faced  a VIP outage in the load balancer.

When we are giving a continuous ping towards the  VIP from  outside it is  facing  the  intermitted  connectivity .

Some time can ping but  other time we  could not ping .It is not only  for ICMP , for all traffic  it is getting effected . For Eg  SMTP , HTTPS .

We checked  the configuration  but could not see any failure…. All probs ,Rservers are up , and VIP is  in INSERVICE .

But the  resource usage  shows as below

  Is there any chance the Denied traffic  disturbed the traffic  ? Or if any other trouble shooting step  is  there please suggest  it .

What does "show service-policy xxx class-map yyy det" says? are there any drops?

Hi ,

Thanks for the update .

There were dropped connections . But i did  not see whether it was increasing or not .

The real case was no outage of the  VIP as well  PROBE.

My question is will there be any resource related issue or anything elso which disturbes the communication .

So please suggest me if any  other method of trouble shooting  is there  .
