Hi,
my customer has some problems with performance on the WAN link. What is the Cisco recommendation for the following situation.Into the InlineGroup 1/0 is connected router into WAN port and switch into LAN port. The router has set full-duplex on the FastEthernet port(here is cross-over cable). Gigabit interface on switch is in the auto mode (here is straight cable). InlineGroup 1/0 is set to full duplex. Is it a correct setting? Or I have to set Gigabit interface on the switch to the full-duplex and speed 100? Thank you.

Roman,
The speed and duplex settings between the router, inline module, and switch all need to match.

It meens: when I have configured the full-duplex on the router interface, I have to set the full-duplex in the inlinegroup 1/0 on WAE and full-duplex in the Gigabit interface on the switch, isn't it? It is same for speed, isn't it?
So the configuration will be following:
1/ router
int fas 0/0
duplex full speed 100
2/ wae
int inlinegroup 1/0
full-duplex
band 100
3/ switch
int Gi 1/0/1
full-duplex
speed 100

Yes. The speed and duplex need to match end-to-end.
