WAAS - Is Active/Standby WCCP redirection Possible ?

Hi,

Is it possble to configure WCCP in an active/standby type arrangement such that If I have a pair of WAAS appliances in the DC that one is primarily operational and WCCP will failover to the second appliance if the first is unavailable ?

Leon,

WCCP will load balance across all the WAEs in the farm. However, you could accomplish what you are trying to do with either in-line interception or PBR redirection (policy based routing)...

However, that being said, WCCP would be my first choice for redirection, especially in the DC.
