WAAS: reestablish connection after break takes up to one our

Hi,

in testing environment the time to establish the new optimization takes up one our. We disconnected one wae via shut-down of the redirect-interface. The edge wae is connected directly to the edge-router. WCCP-redirection works but the statistics for wccp traffic on the edge wae are all zero. The window for Statstics of the CM shows no optimization for this connection. We tested with copy of text-file.

I don't know wy.

Can you please provide some more information about your deployment? What IOS and WAAS versions are you using? Can you provide the output from 'sh ip wccp 61 det' and 'sh ip wccp 62 det' on the router?

the edge router does not support the command sh ip wccp det.

Whensoever the redirect-interface or the Edge-WAE goes down and comes up.

It's not clear to me what problem you are facing. Is WCCP redirecting traffic on both routers? What connection states, if any, do you see in the WAEs?

the connectios statistiks of both wae are zero in the field "% Comp" and the customer can follow this with his applications. But the kind of optimization is displayed (dre, compression) for each connection.
