We have servers that establish a number of connections for a connection pool to the backend db's and the connections cease to function after a couple hours. We didnt have this problem until we moved the app into the csm vlan. I know the default for vserver inbound is 3600 sec
thanks in advance

Yes the default "idle" timeout for any type of vserver is 1 hour. However this value can be configured per vserver (TCP or UDP).
You can verify the configuration using the following document:

Server initiated connections don't hit a vserver. I would like to know what the timeout value is for tcp connections and/or udp for real servers that initiated connections out and if it is adjustable.
