HI,
I read in another discussion that the Blocker licensing is based on users and not e-mail adresses. I wonder if this also applies when a user has several external e-mail adresses i.e.
john@cisco.com
and
john.adams@cisco.com
does this use two licenses in the Blocker or one?
The same qestion applies to this scenario
john@cisco.se
and
johan@cisco.com
does this use two licenses in the Blocker or one?
Best regards,
Mikael

Hello Mikael,
For Blocker purposes, a user is an actual person not a mailbox. So each of the cases you provide counts as only one user.

Jonathan

OK, thats is good news.
How is this controlled and checked? How do we verify how many users there are when one user can have several e-mail adresses?
Best regards,
Mikael

We use a variety of methods mostly centered around message volume with generous buffers for unusual situations.
Thanks,
Jonathan
