Any reason NSS 324 (FW 1.3) and ESW-540-8P (FW 2.1.19)  are not properly identified in the network ?

Connect it t the ESW directly and not the SA. The SA is not supported on the version that you are running.

Thanks,

Marcos

Greg,

Double click on the ESW and make sure you provide credentials to access it in order to have proper discovery of CDP neighbors. The switch itself should have been recognized via CDP by the appliance if it is directly connected to it. What customer ID is this?

Marcos

The thunderbolt device is connected to an SA500 which the ESW also connected. I've provided all credentials. It will backup and intereact, but it did not indicate the device type or icon. Just generic Cisco.

It's customer 1492

Connect it t the ESW directly and not the SA. The SA is not supported on the version that you are running.

Thanks,

Marcos

Bummer

Thanks! I will try that.
