Multiple Email Domains

I don't see specifically in any of the docs where to configure (thus allow) multple domains/host names. Some clients have a parent domain (@parentco.com) but also recieve emails from LOB websites that don't use @parentco.com but @website1.com and even @website2.com. Some of these LOB website emails go to public folders in Exchange.

Would this type of customer setup be available to use the SMB blocker?

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron,

This is a supported configuration with Blocker. The SMTP routes configuration allows you to specify multiple domains, each with an assigned IP for where the mail for that domain should be routed.

Best regards,

Jonathan

In addition you will need to specify in the RAT which domains the appliance should accept first - otherwise the mail will be rejected for trying to relay. Then the apliance can accept, scan for viruses, spam & content.

The smtproutes then enables the appliance to route mail to the appropriate backend mail server (whether it's on port 25 or not.....if it's not use the format 192.168.0.1:2025).
