I recently purchased a PoE switch to replace an older non-managed switch and am having some very strange occurrences when I connect my ATA-186 devices to it. Basically, what is happening is if I connect the ATA and a PC to a switch other than my ESW 520 I can ping the interfaces and everything works fine. As soon as I connect the ESW 520 in ANY WAY to the other switch, the ATA stops responding to ping requests and has to be physically reset.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? I have two ATA 186 devices that I'd like to get back up and running, but cannot due to the ethernet interfaces dying off each time they are connected to the PoE switch.
