We just upgraded our phone system but need to tie into an overhead paging system and the phone company provided an ATA SPA232D for this purpose and we have it tied to an extension.
Works great for the first call but when hang up the phone after making an announcement the ATA remains off-hook and no further announcements can be made. Playing with various tones, polarity, and debug, the ATA is receiving the reorder when the call is terminated from the VOIP phone but does not go back on hook.
Paging system is a Valcom V-2000a.
Ayone have any ideas on congiruring the ATA that would help?
