We have installed a large number of SPA8000s over the past years and had great success with them. I currently have a customer who is using engenius cordless phones connected to 2 ports on the spa. Calls in and out are working properly, however incoming calls are changing the date and time. I can set the time and date in the phones correctly and the next call in changes it. I have set the time and date correctly in the spa. I am not finding any reason for the change to happen every time.
I assume it accepts date and time provided by switch in incoming INVITE packets. PBX are generally recognized as trusted source of correct time. Catch incoming INVITE and verify the date/time inside. It will either confirm or reject my hypothesis.
