I use a SPA122 ATA (in bridge-mode behind a Netgear DGND3800B) for my VoIP comms.
The VoIP-evironment is provided by DT Deutsche Telekom in Germany.
Voice comms is not a problem.
From the analog telephone, that is connected to the ATA (Siemens Gigaset C470), I can send off SMS to anywhere. No Problem.
But when a SMS shall be received, then the phone just rings, the line is quiet, th call is terminated and some time later the provider calls with a voice-call and reads the message to me, because the phone did not take the SMS.
In the "Administration Guide Cisco SPA100 Series Phone Adapters" I could not finde any hint (or I did not understand it), about how to set the ATA for handing on incoming SMS to the phone.
The SPA122 is updated to firmware version 1.4.0 (001) May 27 2015
