I have a device connected to a SPA112 which initiates a call to our operator. When the operator ends the call the device goes silent for a few seconds then gives the off hook howler tone. As there is no handset to this device, the only way to stop this is to reboot the SPA112. I have tried changing the CPC settings but this has not worked. Is there any other way I can get the call to disconnect from both side.
The SPA112 can send "call has ended" signal to it only. It can use CPC or busy tone, for example.
But no way to force your device to go on-hook unless it decide to do it by self.
So read the device vendor documentation or ask vendor for support - you need to know what signal will trigger the on-hook of your device. Then you can ask here how to generate such signal on SPA112 ,,,
Thanks, this is now mostly working. I have the ATA producing the *# tone rather than the initial off hook tone. Once this has finished it's run time I do not get the off hook howler. However I get 3 minutes of silence with a 30 second interval beep. At the end of the 3 minutes the autodialler calls out to the backup number. The line fully drops after termination of this second call. This is not ideal but is accpetable.
