SPA122 ATA Loses Message Waiting Configuration

SPA122 message waiting notification (stuttered dial tone) does not work well with my VOIP service so I just turned it off. I did this under the User 1 line settings by setting "Message Waiting" to "No". I submit the changes and I get the regular dial tone. Sometime later (hours, 1 day?), the stutter dial tone is back. I look at the configuration and Message Waiting as reverted back to "Yes".

 

Why is this happening, and how do I get this configuration setting to stay "No".  Other configuration items seem unchanged.

You have configured remote

You have configured remote provisioning. So phone is downloading it's configuration from designated server periodically.

 

You need to update configuration on that server. Of you may deconfigure such provisioning at all - but you need to maintain device configuration by self then.
