SPA122 message waiting notification (stuttered dial tone) does not work well with my VOIP service so I just turned it off. I did this under the User 1 line settings by setting "Message Waiting" to "No". I submit the changes and I get the regular dial tone. Sometime later (hours, 1 day?), the stutter dial tone is back. I look at the configuration and Message Waiting as reverted back to "Yes".
Why is this happening, and how do I get this configuration setting to stay "No". Other configuration items seem unchanged.
