SPA8800 with system phone

I would like to use the SPA8800 to link up the telephone system of my offices at 2 different locations.  Is it possible to connect the SPA8800 to the in-house telephone system which also use 4 wires RJ-11 plugs? i.e.  SPA8800 connect to my system box, PAP2T connect to the phone, and link up SPA8800 and PAP2T by internet.

yes, this is doable, but you need to have a VPN established between the two locations in order to have IP local connectivity between the devices.

I had ordered 2 SPA8800 and looking forward to connect the old Panasonic key phone system with the exchange box in one location.  Is there any special settings that I need to "tell" the "SPA8800" other than just plug the phones and set the internet connectivity?
