Could you please help me to validate this Design:
Main site:
Two IE-5000-16S12P (LAN base)
Remote sites (13 sites):
One IE-1000-4P2S-LM by Location
Each IE 1000 switch will have 2 uplinks (primary and secondary link) to the two IE5000.
About 2km distance between each IE 1000 and Two IE 5000.
My questions:
How to connect the two IE5000 together knowing that they w’ll be in the same location? (two cables with STP?, stack ? LAG…)
For each remote IE 1000, If the main uplink failed, how the secondary uplink take over? (Spanning tree, LAG, others protocols…)
What is the prerequisites for this design?
