QoS and WebEx

Hi, I am wondering about best practices when trying to mark and classify webex video traffic from the users PC client.  I have looked around and nbar is possibly one option or i could match on the destination and ports of the traffic.

But i'm wondering on what other people had experienced?  as there does not seem to be a best practices guide on this currently (unless i'm missing it)?

thanks in advance

The reason for lack of BPs is webex traffic will go to the internet where all traffic is best effort.

Placing markings from your network will be fruitless unless the point of congestion is your pipe.

BTW, in case you don't know, video will use SSLv3 (https) towards the webex server.

If you know your webex server IP, you can match on this destination + https and apply the appropriate marking for video.

thanks for your reply, yep we are trying to give them a guarantee them bandwidth across the WAN to the internet edge, what happens to it after that is obviously best effort.  We have been given the webex server IP's so will match on that + https.  Thanks again!
