CSCsw88275 - VQP switch_id changes after adding vlan interface and rebooting

I have a case in which the customer is noticing the VMPS querries being sourced from different IP addresses.

My questions is, is it an expected behavior as per the algorithm defined for the VMPS query protocol to work?

Switch hardware: WS-C3560-48PS-S

Switch software : c3560-ipservicesk9-mz.122-44.SE2.bin

In the bug CSCsw88275 ,  there is a bit of detail mentioned about VMPS querry process however  the question still stands as why the VQP would not choose the same  interface with the highest bandwidth everytime when the request is sent.

Please let me know about your thoughts on this.

The behavior you are describing seems unrelated to the bug cited.

There is a IP source address selection algorithm for packets sourced from a router, based on a number of criteria (including the destination address).  We'd need to explore more details of your configuration to comment sensibly.  A TAC case may be in order, or a question in the one of the Switching forums.
