Sorry to hear about the trouble.  The best way to expedite a bug fix is to open a case with the Technical Assistance Center and pursue your issue there.

However, in this case it looks like it is already fixed and targeted for the 9.3 release, its just a matter of waiting for the release cycle to run its course.

Agreed with Phil. I've been actively following this bug due to other customer reports. It is resolved in 9.3.1. That software is not released yet. That software has not completed testing. Deploying untested software in a production network is very risky.  Generally speaking this is a display issue. It does not affect functionality.  Are we talking about the correct bug? Is this really this issue holding up the sale?  Otherwise, you raise a great point about the inconsistent implementation and operation across phone models. If this is inhibiting your sale or deployment then your Cisco account team needs to provide that feedback to the product management team.  If you elect to open a TAC case please let me know the number.  Regards, Wes
