CSCul26755 - INSPECT ICMP ERROR ICMP HEADER AFTER UN_NAT DOES NOT MATCH IP DST ADDR

Hi

problem:

https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCul26755#details

in fixed versions v9.0(4.2) is mentioned, rather there it's not available at download, only 9.0(4.1). How to proceed to get v9.0(4.2)?

other option would be 9.1.(4.1), which is uanavilable, the same at cisco download site (only Release 9.1.4.ED).

recommendation?

The 9.0.4.2 interim ASA image is only available through a TAC case.

The 9.1.4.4 interim ASA image is scheduled to be posted after it finishes the testing cycle. That should be in the next week or so.

Sincerely,

David.

Hi

thanks for the info.

Any guess when it will be included in public release i.e. 9.0.5, or something like this?

Unfortunately, no.  To get the fix in a 9.0 release, you will need to run an interim image.  Usually about ever 4th interim is posted publicly.  Since the fix missed the 9.0.4.1 interim, (but is in 9.0.4.2), the public interim will most likely be 9.0.4.5 - but that is still a couple months out.

Sincerely,

David.
