CSCur02861 UCCX COP file

Hi guys,

Can someone clarify or explain how to apply the UCCX COP file which addresses CSCur02861 issue?

I've downloaded the COP file and the release notes from Cisco downloads. In the release note, it says 'For instructions on applying the patch, see the Apply COP File procedure in the Cisco Unified CCX Installation and Upgrade Guide available here:... ' However, in the guide http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_9_02/installation/guide/UCCX_BK_U096815B_00_uccx-installrand-upgrade.pdf page 22, it indicates the install instruction should be within the release note:

"See the documentation that is provided with the COP file for additional instructions on how to apply the COP file."

I am confused about this as I wanted to know how to apply the COP file/verify it's applied successfully and if the UCCX needs a reboot.

Thanks a lot,.

Hi Mate

First you need to setup a SFTP server and keep your COP files in the SFTP directory. next you should install the COP file on the Cisco Unified OS Administration Page

https://UCCX_IP/cmplatform

. Goto -> Software Upgrades -> and select Source as 'Remote Filesystem' and provide your SFTP details.

when you press next it should list the COP file to install.

I am not sure about the restart part but be ready for that.

Thanks,

Thanks Nithin,

That is helpful.

But I still like to see if anyone here came across this issue and the steps need to follow to install that particular patch.

Thanks,

I believe that particular COP follows the normal install steps. Since the customer didn't come back and complaint, I believe it worked for him.

Thanks for the help!

Welcome :)
