FI reboot after generating a UCSM show-tech

Has anyone else find another work around to help prevent the FI from rebooting? I have one solution that helps, but I wouldn’t call it a work around, just a preventive. Let me know if this helps.

***** REMOVE DATA FROM UCS WORKSPACE WHILE GENERATING SHOW-TECH *****

1. SSH into the UCS

2. Type: connect local-mgmt A

3. Type: DIR (repeat until fwm_trace_log has been created then proceed to step #4)

4. Type: delete file fwm_trace_log

5. Type: exit

6. Type: connect local-mgmt B

7. Type: delete file fwm_trace_log

8. Type: exit

9. Type: exit

Done, just give UCS a minutes to finish the cleanup of the logs.

This is related to bug

This is related to bug CSCuh88231 in FI version 2.1(1f) on 61xx chassis.

Workaround A = the steps you listed above.

Workaround B = load a debug module and then create a symlink for the fwm_trace_log file.  Details are in the bug notes.
