My SPA502G can dial out but will not ring?

My phone was working fine then all of a sudden you could no longer ring in or out after much fiddling with the modem with the support of my IP i can now ring out however all incoming calls go straight to voice mail but the voicemail light on the phone doesn't light up and there is no register of those calls by the phone at all.

I don't seem able to find an answer to this from searching hope someone can help. I have noticed that under attendant console status  Unit online is marked no but i do not know how to change this at all or if this is even the problem.
