I am in my 50's. My experience is in System Testing, Messaging Products Implementation and before that in WAN networking (back in the days of X.25). I have a current exposure to CISCO technologies and i am currently ready to take my CCNA R&S. A CCNP will follow. The question is -- on this multi-year plan -- which Cisco certification / carrer path will accommodate my soon-to-be-retired lifestyle. I expand: been on call would be less preferred and working remotely 3-4 days a week or more would be strongly preferred. Eventually, part time, as the retirement years come close. This is a 5-10 year plan. So, far I have come up with Test/Design, as an option and Pre-sales Support, as well. Thanks for your ideas on this.
