How do I transition from DSL and 2 traditional land lines to cable service with VOIP
The voip provider offers a combo modem/router that has 2 RJ11 ports but it is an N type, with terrible wireless (range of about 15 feet) and terrible throughput. I get 50 MB out of the hard wired Ethernet and less than 3 MB out of the wireless (regardless of device).
Can anyone suggest an AC router or modem/router combo that would have 2 - RJ11 ports or a way to bridge RJ11 to RJ45 ports and have the VOIP still work? That would give a much large choice of hardware? Thanks so much.
