Hi,
given the nature of Hadoop traffic, is there a recommended number of nodes that can be sitting in one VLAN. or what is the rule of thumb for maximum number of servers that can be place in a single VLAN (broadcast domain)?
thanks

Hi Vladmir,
I don't deploy the hadoop environment. I am on the network side. But, we are using solutions from Clodera. We are not using Cloud solutions from Cisco. Just the networking gear. the hadoop environment is built on physical non-blade servers(no virtualization). Hope that helps a lil in understanding our environment.
thanks

Are you using Cisco CloudCenter or what used to be call CliQr? That is what this forum is for. If you have another product you should go back up to the main DataCenter level and see where your product(s) are located.
