After an upgrade to Cisco CallManager, the user receives the "You do not have permission for CallManager administration" error message when trying to make changes in Cisco CallManager Administrator

Core Issue

The Data Connection (DC) directory and Cisco CallManager passwords do not match.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, perform these steps:

  1. Reset the Cisco CallManager Administrator password through c:\dcdsrvr\bin\ccmpwdchanger.exe.  

       
  2. Restart the WWW publishing service (w3svc) by performing these steps:  

       
    1. Select Start > Run and enter CMD. A DOS prompt appears in the window.      

             
    2. From a DOS prompt, enter net stop w3svc. The WWW publishing service stops.      

             
    3. In order to restart the WWW publishing service, enter net start w3svc.
