Core Issue
In this scenario, the setup involves a Primary Rate Interface (PRI) through which the call comes into the Cisco IOS gateway. From the gateway, the call is transferred to a VXML script that transfers the called number to the Cisco MobilityManager. The Cisco MobilityManager then sends the call to the CallManager, which sends an H.323 call to the voice gateway.
The problem in this case is that for every call that is made through the Cisco MobilityManager, the CallManager sends the same called number. When option 1 is pressed in order to make an outside call, the call is disconnected by the H.323 gateway after four seconds.
Resolution
In order to resolve this issue, perform these steps:
- Make sure the H.323 gateway has the VoIP dial-peer pointing to the Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) ports correctly, as detailed in Configuring H.323 Gateways for Mobile Voice Access.
- Disable the H.323 gateway for Inbound FastStart in the Cisco CallManager administration.
