Cannot access the directories button as the IP phones in CCM cluster are prompting for a username and password.

Core Issue

The problem occurs when the passwords in the Cisco CallManager cluster are out of synchronization.

Resolution

In order to resolve the issue, you need to run the Admin utility after-hours and refresh the passwords of the cluster.

The Admin utility is located at c:\program files\cisco\bin>.

Restart the IIS service in the cluster from Windows Services or by running the iisreset command.
