Core Issue
The Real Time Monitoring Tool (RTMT) sends alerts in e-mail form, which can be configured to an individual or many recipients. In the RTMT, it is possible to configure alert actions for every alert that is generated and have the alert action sent to e-mail recipients specified in the alert action list.
RTMT provides a list of fields that are used to configure alert actions. All fields are user-configurable unless otherwise marked.
Resolution
To add or modify recipients on the RTMT list, perform these steps:
- Go to Alert >Set Alert/Properties.
- When the Alert Properties screen pops-up, click Next three times until the Alert Properties: Email Notification window appears.
- Click on the Configure tab, next to Trigger Alert Action.
- Under Action List, choose your email profile and click on Edit.
- All recipients names are listed on the right. From here, either delete or add new users.
- Restart the Cisco RIS Data Collector Service from the Application > Cisco CallManager Serviceability > Tools > Control Center, on all of the Cisco CallManager servers in the cluster.
