Core Issue

In the Cisco CallManager 4.x cluster with many users, when users are deleted and added again in order to change the DNs for all the users, Bulk Administration Tool (BAT) works fine for the first few times and after that it starts to show up an error related to the DC Directory.

Too many open connections. DC directory server is recovering from eralier error.

This happens due to the many changes to user database. SQL goes out of sync and DC Directory hangs. Also, an attempt to log in to the Cisco CallManager fails with the use of Multilevel Administration (MLA).

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, reset the DC Directory services on all servers in the cluster and then run the SQL agent again. This fixes the SQL replication, and the DC Directory is also stable.
