Core Issue
Cisco CallManager, even after upgrade from version 3.3(2) to version 3.3(3), is displaying incorrect versions for the installed components. The display is as shown in the table below.
Component | Version | Installation ID |
Cisco IP Manager Assistant (IPMA) | 3.3.2.10016 | 3.3(2)spC |
InsertCDR.exe | 3.2.0.1 | 3.2(2c)spH |
snmpmsg.dll | 0.0.0.0 | 3.2(3) |
snmpalarmreceiver.dll | 1.0.0.1 | 3.2(3) |
xntpd.exe | 1.0.0.0 | 3.2(1) |
xntpdc.exe | 1.0.0.0 | 3.2(1) |
Cisco CallManager displays the version of some of the components as version 3.2 instead of 3.3. On verification, the Out Of Sync option on the Cisco CallManager Component Versions page displays There is no "Out Of Sync" component installed on servers.
Except for the above message, the server is fully functional and has no issues with the services related to the components with the incorrect version.
Resolution
This is normal and can be ignored as long as Cisco CallManager works without a problem. The Cisco CallManager version 3.2 components listed are redundant in Cisco CallManager version 3.3.
