Introduction
With the release of Cisco TelePresence System (CTS) 1.7.4 code, CTS units now use the new "DSCP for TelePresence Calls" setting introduced in CUCM 8.0 instead of the previously used "DSCP for Video Calls":
Cisco TelePresence System Models:
- CTS500-32 / 500-37
- CTS1000 / 1100
- CTS1300-65
- CTS3000 / 3010
- CTS3200 / 3210
Software:
- CUCM 8.0 and higher
- CTS 1.7.4 and higher
Details to know:
The DSCP settings for Cisco TelePresence Models listed above are configured in CUCM under the Clusterwide Parameters (System - QOS) section located in the Administration GUI -> System -> Service Parameters -> Your Server / For Service choose - Cisco CallManager.
With the release of CTS 1.7.4, TelePresence units now utilize the "DSCP for TelePresence Calls" QoS setting (shown circled in red) which defaults to CS4.
If you are running a mix of 1.7.4 code and earlier, be advised that units running earlier code, are utilizing the "DSCP for Video Calls" setting (circled in green).

The CTS Sysop Log will report what DSCP values are being received from the remote system:
Please note that on the 1.7.4 CTS GUI, the Configuration/Telephony Settings will show the CUCM Audio/Video values and not the TelePresence value. A bug has been filed to update this section in the GUI.
