QUESTION:

What are the Supported EPG Formats for Cisco Cast?

We are receiving EPG information from the provider with
TEXT format. I assume I need to convert them into XML.
Is there any guide which explain the schema or how we convert
provider EPG format into XML format which can understand
EPG in DMS CAST?

XMLTV
-----
XMLTV is an emerging, open-source format for EPG data, based in part on RFC 2838, and maintained
by the XMLTV Project. An EPG data file that complies with this format contains structured records
that describe the attributes of episodes and channels individually.

Cisco DMS supports EPG data subscriptions that retrieve a single gzip-compressed XMLTV
file from an ftp server.
