How to enable basic SIP logging in Name Resolution Server (NRS) Call Session Control Platform (CSCP) 3.0

Core Issue

The user is monitoring Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) traffic to NRS.

Resolution

To enable SIP basic logging in NRS, perform these steps:

  1. Connect to the NRS through Telnet, as shown:

    $ telnet localhost 8070.

  2. Upload the log.cfg file, as shown in this example:

    /dsnrs-NSR01> load log.cfg.

    File log.cfg loaded successfully.

The new log file will be located under NRS install_directory/log/log.log.
