In a Cisco IOS voice gateway router, the user cannot save the configuration. The Error saving SNMP ifIndexes No space left on device error message is displayed

Core Issue

The error message is simply an informational message. The error message indicates that there is no more space left on the NVRAM to store the ifIndexes. The ifIndex information is stored in the NVRAM area, which is  normally small and whose size cannot be increased.

To overcome this problem, perform one of these procedures:

Exit from configuration mode and issue the write memory command. It should write the configurations to Flash.
