In the Cisco CallManager 4.x environment, Attendant Console does not display any phone number or user under AutoGenerated.txt

Core Issue

In a Cisco CallManager 4.x environment that exists and works where in the ActiveDirectory pluggin is also installed and works correctly, Attendant Console no longer shows any users or phone numbers. 


If you check C:\Program Files\Cisco\CallManagerAttendant\UserLists\AutoGenerated.txt., this appears:
 
# THIS IS AN AUTO GENERATED CORPORATE DIRECTORY LIST.
# Generated at: Wed May 24 12:29:43 GMT-04:00 2006

# Total user count: 0


If the user directory that is checked in CallManager Administration shows all the users and their phone numbers, it is also possible to log on to Cisco CallManager without any issues.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, complete these steps:

  1. Go to C:\Program Files\Cisco\CallManagerAttendant\UserLists in the Cisco CallManager server and look for the file called AutoGenerated.txt.
  2. Delete the file.
  3. Restart the TCD and CTI services under Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Services in the Cisco CallManager server.
