In Unity 4.x, the Port Status Monitor program is inaccessible and an error message is displayed.

Core Issue

When trying to execute Port Status Monitor from the Unity Tools Depot or the Status Monitor.exe file in Cisco Unity 4.x, the user receives the A failure (FindCsComponents(ResourceManager) failed hr=80070005) occured during initialization at line 778. error message.

This issue occurs if you are logged into Cisco Unity with the administrator account. The error pops up when you access the Status Monitor.exe file.


To resolve the issue, log in with the UnityAdmin or UnityInstall account.
