Installation of Cisco CallManager 5.x fails when a DMA Backup is restored from an FTP server, and the "file can not be found" error message appears

Core Issue

During the installation of Cisco CallManager 5.x, the file can not be found error message appears and the installation fails when the installer asks for the location. This happens whether the file name is defined or is left blank in order to choose the backup from the root directory.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, do not leave the location empty when the DMA backup is to be accessed from the root directory. In addition, make sure the file name is exactly the same as the backup location. This is case sensitive. If there is any mismatch in the file name, the file can not be found error message appears and the installation fails.
